The dining room includes an element of surprise in the form of a shell-pink ceiling paired with a modern table and chairs. The homeowners’ abstract art influenced the vibrant palette at the windows and on the table, including the lime-green custom table skirt trimmed in aubergine. A tribal rug adds to the bold palette while bringing character to the design.
In the master bedroom, Kirsten and Kelli continued the home’s mixture of bold prints, gold finishes, and splashes of animal prints. A striking canopy bed defies convention with its thick, solid frame. Kelli dressed it with zebra-print linens, which play off the carpet’s brown-and-white foundation. A seating area centers on a Lucite coffee table full of gilded butterflies. The masterful mix offers refined comfort without frills, a theme consistent throughout the house. It’s this combination of bold finishes and notable prints that distinguishes the work of the sisters and makes the home feel utterly modern.
