Shower Walls & Shower Bench: Florentine™ Carrarra 12 x 24, Accent Mosaic: Natural Stone Decorative Accents Argyl Blend White Mosaic

SH: Where should a homeowner take a risk?

CH: The new ceramic and porcelain tiles that mimic encaustic tiles have a lot of impact and would be great in a laundry room, bathroom, or backsplash where you want to make a statement. If you prefer a more restrained approach, consider adding an inset into the shower wall or bathroom floor. Perhaps you lay your tile in a herringbone or chevron pattern. Homeowners are also taking their kitchen backsplash to the ceiling, which offers a lot of look for the money.
